I graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics. I have been a practicing actuary for the past two decades. I run into a lot of students who think that they are poor with math skills, but really they just have issues understanding a few concepts. I think that graphs, charts, and other illustrations are a good way to explain concepts to students in an understandable language. My goal is to make students feel like mathematical concepts are a cinch.I tutor in Middle School Math, Algebra 1-2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1-3, Statistics, and Arithmetic. For students who enjoy math on a competitive level, I also tutor in Competition Math. Finite Mathematics, AP Calculus, and Multivariable Calculus are some of the upper-level courses that I help with. When I am not dealing with math, I am enjoying gardening, aviation, ballroom dancing, and volleyball. I currently reside in Glen Allen, VA.
