Experience
As a tutor I can work with students of all skill levels on a variety of subjects. I'm available to tutor algebra, elementary math, middle school math, reading, American history, European history, geography, English, social studies, and more. I also teach English as a second language, and I can help students with the reading and science portions of the ACT exam. I received two degrees at Pepperdine's undergraduate college, one in German Language and the other in International Studies. After completing my undergraduate studies I went on to earn my master's in Global Media and Communications at the London School of Economics. I also have a master's in Global Communications from the University of Southern California. I've worked with students of all ages from elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. As a tutor I feel that it is my job to help guide my students towards the answers, not just tell them. I understand that every student learns differently, and I assess each of my student's individual learning styles so that I can implement the most effective teaching strategy. When I'm not tutoring I like to travel the world and study different cultures. I have been to nearly fifty countries. I also enjoy playing volleyball and soccer and going on hikes.
